Are you looking for ways to manage your weight, blood glucose levels for your type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease (also called heart disease)?

High levels of a type of cholesterol called LDL-C can increase cardiovascular risk. We’re looking for adults at high risk of a serious cardiovascular event, such as heart attack or stroke, who are on statin therapy to control their cholesterol to help see if an investigational oral study medication is safe and reduces the risk of a serious cardiovascular event.

A common misbelief is that individuals with obesity make bad choices, live an unhealthy lifestyle, and lack willpower. This is simply wrong.
